WHO WE ARE
Founded in 1991, ECOS Communications provides innovative design, graphics and planning services. Our projects often involve a mix of experiential design and educational efforts, focused at the intersection of nature, people, and the built environment.
ECOS expertise in visitor behavior, design, exhibit fabrication, science and cultural history helps interpret complex ideas in accessible and enjoyable ways. We utilize our interdisciplinary talents and experience in non-formal learning environments to offer a diversity of skills, approaches, and knowledge. Often we are brought on early in a design process, working with architects and other planners to identify and engage significant storylines and desired experiences.
ECOS is best known to its clients for its creativity, quality, accuracy, and personal service. We often work on a multitude of small one-off projects in addition to full exhibitions and large, multi-institution partnerships. Many of our repeat clients use our services as a primary source for their planning and exhibition needs. We are very careful about matching the desires of our clients with the availability of our staff. We simply do not take on work if we cannot dedicate ourselves completely.
Finally, we like to do it all! Our work often spans from early conceptualization to the last nut and bolt. As one of our clients put it, “ECOS closes the design loop like no other design firm. They are there imagineering on day one, and with rag and polish on the last day as well.”
